Muhammed Mustafa is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt representing Checkmat Essex, with over 9 years of experience as both a competitor and coach. Known for his technical precision and calm, approachable teaching style, Muhammed creates a positive learning environment where students of all levels can progress with confidence and purpose.

As a high-level competitor, Muhammed has achieved consistent success across major international events. Competing at Black Belt Master 1, his highlights include multiple podium finishes at IBJJF London Spring, Fall, and International Opens in both Gi and No-Gi, as well as competing on the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour (2025–2026).

Beyond competition, Muhammed is a dedicated kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach with a strong track record of developing young athletes. Under his guidance, students have become European Gi and No-Gi Champions and medalists, including a Pan American Kids Champion. Through his charity work, he uses Jiu-Jitsu as a tool to build confidence, discipline, and positive opportunities within the community.
