Our Instructors

Our instructors are fully qualified and well respected within the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community. Known for their charismatic and engaging teaching style, they create a fun learning environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Chris White

Black Belt

Head Instructor at Doncaster Martial Arts Centre. A Polaris Professional Champion (2025), he has also earned podium finishes at NAGA Worlds and the New York Open, competing in both Gi and No-Gi.

Known for his approachable and engaging teaching style, Chris also coaches Kickboxing and Boxing. He is fully DBS checked, first aid certified, and Safeguard trained.

Muhammed Mustafa

Black Belt

Head Instructor at Checkmat Essex, with over 9 years of experience as a competitor and coach. Competing at Black Belt Master 1, he has achieved multiple podium finishes at major IBJJF events and the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour.
